Message from the VP Nursing

Welcome to Adventist Medical Center-Valencia City (AMCV)!

Our website gives you a glimpse of what we are and how we are doing at AMCV. AMCV is a member of the Adventist Health Care System of the Southern Asia-Pacific Division (SSD) of the Seventh-day Adventist church which oversees nineteen (19) hospitals over fourteen (14) countries, namely, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vietnam, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.

As a 100-bed and a base hospital of Mountain View College School of Nursing, AMCV envisions to be the healthcare facility of choice and a faith-based center of influence in Bukidnon. You will see that in AMCV, our administrators, workers, and nurses are committed to providing a safe and friendly environment by giving the best care and a good patient experience to all our clients. As a Seventh-day Adventist institution, we work together to extend the healing ministry of Christ thorough wholistic, excellent care. We place a high value on our clients; hence, we give them opportunity to express their feelings and opinions regarding AMCV, its personnel, and services through our Customer Service Officer who visits each client in their sick bed.

As the Vice President for Nursing, I, together with the Nursing Council, am responsible to develop our nursing staff to be able to deliver excellent care, as well as to prepare future nursing leaders. We support other sections by working closely with the different section heads. We focus on a trusting relationship with high expectation for everyone and are never complacent, constantly striving to improve on our previous best. We strive for consistent nurses’ training and updates to provide advanced learning experience to our staff equipping them not only for their skills but also for their attitude, strengthening the values and principles of a Christian Nurse.
